I use freefoldersync to conduct the file backups, I just do them manually.
I do a Backblaze B2 backup. Encryption is off on the side of Backblaze and I just encrypt the file prior to upload via TrueNAS.
For local backup, I have a 2TB WD Passport that I have encrypted via LUKS that gets disconnected. I just sync stuff there.
I should probably do proper rsync backups where only the deltas are synced. I havent gotten to the point of doing that yet
