I so want Ryzen too, but I already have a Skylake Xeon.

My want v. need center in my brain is very conflicted.

Bench for waitmarks.

Again if you have a modern Intel CPU and dont need more cores really isn't a need to upgrade. I'm not.

yeah, but i also need to count ddr4 to it. As I do not have them. (and a rack case thats additional $300 or more)

I got to say after watching the AMD presentation on it is that Ryzen is very impressive. I'm really curious about the Ryzen 7 1700. That one seems awesome to me. I'm looking forward to reading more benchmarks on all of these.

Finally got those cinebench r15 numbers. Fuck it, I'm on the hype train too I guess. Now to wait for 6 core pricing too see if I can justify the wallet impact...
