The Lexar nm620 and Macrium woes

Howdy!

Been having a struggle with Macrium and the Lexar NM620 2TB variant. From my understanding, and please correct me if I’m wrong, but the drive itself is designed with a 4K block size, where the operating system I’m trying to copy over is a Win11 OS with 512.

This Macrium error of “Incompatible Disk Selected” is related to going from a 512 to 4K block size.

Most NVMe based drive use the 512e as a compatibility option (from what I understand), but I don’t know whether this drive has the option?

This is for a friend of mine btw.

Also, the Lexar website is beyond woeful, as it has Lorem Ipsum under the subsection of SSDs.

Thanks for your time.

Kind regards.

AI spam trying to link a game, I suspect, but the markup got mangled.

Unfortunately I’ve got nothing for the actual problem. (Would have responded earlier if I did.)

in powershell: where x is your source and target drive letters

fsutil fsinfo ntfsinfo x:
compare sector size
also run chkdsk against the drive you are trying to clone
