Title summarises it well, in this instance. The fact that they are just "revealing" this information and are "[breaking] its silence on government surveillance" suggests that they may have been compliant when first installed. Regardless, steps in the right direction now.

As a colleague summarised, "How are people not rioting over this shit?".

Also, they will be releasing their first "Law Enforcement Disclosure Report" on Friday (a measly 40,000 word report).

Having trouble telling if these sorts of articles/findings are becoming more and more common, because it appears that certain aspects of illegal mass surveillance are just being shrugged off as "yet another one of those". Thoughts?
