The best picture I've ever taken

I took this about 2 years ago outside of Meijer, and wow. Everyone coming out of the store was just staring at the sky. It was breathtaking.

You got me digging through my old photos, thinking about which ones I liked… This is Sep 2011, climbing Mt Baldy up the Devil’s Backbone trail with two friends. There just happened to be a nicely positioned moon as we headed west up the trail, so I took lots of shots and this one looked best to me.

Nice my photography leans more to wildlife than landscapes. My wife is a birder so I took up bird photography to morph my hobby closer to hers and give us something to do together. Love double rainbows. You’re image is nice and clear and beautiful.

I have lived my hole life and WoW at things and events and never taken a photo… Only bragged about being there and what I did.

Well, a double rainbow is a phenomenon of optics that displays a spectrum of light due to the sun shining on droplets of moisture in the atmosphere. Does that explain it?

Not sure if it’s the best picture I ever took but this one of the Great Church in Haarlem, NL, taken the night before New Year’s out of the hotel window with my Pixel 6a came out quite nicely.
