Some time ago i asked for help to build a new PC : Need help for a Workstation Build
i’d like to thank all the people that helped me out. I’ve built my new workstation (yep it took me a while :P) with some final tweaks over the original planned build. I ended up using these parts :
2950x air cooled with a noctua nh-u14
x399 meg creation
32gb hyperX ddr4 3200mhz (4x8)
850w focus+ platinum
rtx 2070 MSI armor
all accommodated in a define R6.
everything worked like a charm, posted right away, zero issues!
the TR performance in maya is…outstanding!
Sadly, i had some troubles with the RTX 2070, who died on me a week after the purchase (yeah, space invaders issue -.-). Waiting for a replacement. Most probably i’ll replace it with a P4000.
