Hey Logan, Wendell, Qain, Pistol, and whomever else this applies too, how do you guys think of the idea of you guys making custom PC's with tek syndicate logos/decalls, or all black/white PC's Or mixed colored PC's made by you guys, and sell them to fans for minimal profit? Or even custom made/modded cases including tecsyndicate logos or such? To me, it seems like a good way for the teksyndicate crew to make a bit more money while also making really cool PCs for fans.
I don't really think they have the time for that, they would have to hire someone and then that would increase costs etc. they could maybe make some one-off PCs and auction them and give the profits to charity or put it back into the community (through new vids etc).
I think perhaps a better idea would be tek syndicate case badges and decals etc
good idea but id rather see like decals so you can ship them anywhere and to keep the dyi spirit of the community and have them go full retail on the "kits", greed is good some times more profit happier= team = top notch content = expansion= more money. i would also do a pre-order so they don't make a bunch of stock and get left holding the bag. i would personally pay up to $50 to "tek out" my computer/ desk area with stickers, decals and the bit. a whole system would be too much overhead and would step on sponsor toes. which is never good when that's your lively hood.
also if something happens, they wont cope well with over budget projects there just isn't money in it unless they do it full time honest guys as cool as it would be to have a tek edition anything, your talking thousands in overhead it's just not what the community is about
Unless the community grows, I doubt this would feasible. They've said they don't make much on clothing, modding cases and selling them to a few people would probably be a loss. Someone did mention mouse pads, which I would actually be interested in.
However, I doubt they would have any problems with you going down to your local machine shop and having them mod it. I imagine a machine shop could cut out, stamp, or imprint the logo on the side panel of your case so long as it's made of thick aluminum or steel. It'd probably only cost $50-$100 for it, and it would be professionally done. If you don't have a machine shop, ask a gun smith if they have the tools to do it.
