Tek Syndicate Standard Issue mice owners thread

so my brothers german shepard puppy has decided eating stuff off my desk is a fun way to pass the time while we are out... he decided to chew the usb cable right at the entry to the mouse housing... anyone know where i can purchase a replacement?

i knew a light was suppose to be there, i think someone did a tutorial

they just sold out of their first run :(

I'd suggest taking it apart to see if you can solder the wires back on. Don't have much to lose at this point.

I apologize for the potato photo, but I do have the TS Standard Issue Mouse. :-)

If you can't solder it back, they're still on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Tek-Syndicate-Gaming-Mouse-Standard/dp/B01D8WCU7W/

yeah i meant if anyone knew the acutal model number of the mouse to see if i could order a spare usb power cable... not looking for a replacement mouse.

I have that same speaker system :P

Nice! :-D

For the most part I like them; I just wish that the stands were a little more solid. I wound up putting small velcro pads underneath the stands to prevent sliding around and the rattling when I type.

They're a pretty good value for the price. Audiophiles will probably disagree but Im usually broke xD

A really weird issue that I've come across a couple of times.

At work I use the Standard Issue mouse on a Macbook (yep, heresy). If I accidentally knock the sensitivity down button the sensitivity decreases but the up button does not increase it again. The tracking speed in the OS does not change when this happens either. If I unplug it and plug it back in, no changes. However, if I change to a different mouse then change back again that works fine.
If I use the mouse on a Linux or Windows machine the sensitivity changes correctly.

Any ideas? I got nothing.
To add, using a different OS isn't an option.

Now that the Standard Issue mouse has sold out, any thoughts on making a sequel? Same design or some new ideas? The Standard Issue is a pretty good mouse, but now the Pixart 3366 is out and I wonder if Logan is going to try to play with that new sensor.

Number 2 has arrived over the weekend. Got it from the Amazon store front. Sadly this one will not be used as it will be collectible. I will bring it to the next Lan Syndicate and have the Tek Syndicate team sign the box.

A man of my word.

I got the last Tek Syndicate mouse from their UK Amazon site, which was also the last available mouse since it was already sold out on the Epic Pants website.

Don't know why I'm stating this, but just wanted to put it out there.

With 3d printing technology available, why is Tek Syndicate resorting to outsourcing generic mice body? Perhaps 3d printing is still expensive, however, might there be a possibility of limited editions of custom designed mice body using 3d print?

I enjoyed the mouse but I have two key issues with this mouse. Firstly, the mouse sniper button is right where I want to grip the mouse for maximum accuracy but I don't want 400dpi. Secondly, the mouse cord is so heavy it broke the mouse, tracking is intermittent now. So if you use a mouse cord holder I guess you might avoid the issue with the cord but it's just a real design flaw. If I could disable the sniper button and the cord was lighter this would be a wonderful mouse! Be sure to report my findings to the manufacturer and make a v2 I'll buy one.

Finally got my mouse back

Now I have 3 standard issues
