So wanted to give a resolution to this whole Fedora test for the few that were so awesome to me. I did mess around with attempting to install snap, however I started having stability issues. I had Fedora lock up quite a few times doing certain tasks after applying updates. After having it lock up for the fourth time I have decided to drop fedora for now.
I have run this system without lockups / hangs with many other distros so I do think it has something to do with Fedora. I have since moved on to Pop!OS. So far the experience is much more smooth.
I was able to get NVENC setup with literally 4 commands. I’ll post a different thread on this later once I get things built out fully and tested, but it may be my go-to for out of the box streaming recommendation for linux users at the moment.
