I am looking for a Laptop/Tablet for School and MS Office. I was looking into a Surface RT and a Chromebook. Im not sure what i should do. I am willing to get either a Surface RT, Chromebook or Laptop. It has to be under $550 including the $139 MS Office. Please leave any suggestions below. if you have found a laptop please leave a link below aswell.

I know for certain that the Surface RT is a really BAD choice, laptops are always good, haven't heard much on chromebooks

Chromebooks are cool as long as you ALWAYS have a wifi connection to access your google documents. That is kind of the only downside to the chromebooks.
If you need a cheap machine to type reports/do research, etc, grab a 300$ laptop from Best Buy. They always have something affordable.
The surface pro has a wacom digitizer which is cool. The rt on the other hand I cant think of any redeeming qualitys. I would avoid it. A 500-600 dollar tegra 3 baised tablet is not a good deal.
That lenovo gigabuster posted a link to or something like it is a much better way to go.
