Supplemental PCIe power socket Asrock TRX40

You mention a supplemental PCIe power slot on the Asrock Creator trx40 motherboard.
Should I plug power into that when using two Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 supers? Is there no harm in utilizing it regardless?

You can plugin it in without worries. If you only have two GPUs and nothing else you may not need to, but you can.
