Also looking for most recent firmware/BIOS for X4170 original and M2 variants.
Installed BIOS seems to be missing options such as āRestore power after lossā, 4s power button delay etc.
Can anyone please help?
Still looking for firmware etc but seems I may be able to solve immediate āpowerā issues using SP commands, eg:
On SP:
ā ls /SP/policy -d properties
/SP/policy
Properties:
HOST_AUTO_POWER_ON = disabled
HOST_LAST_POWER_STATE = disabled
I wonder if these can be set here too? Will tryā¦
Turns out ipmitool is partially fubarād for Debian 12 so if anyone is looking for this then ILOM web GUI has this under Configuration:Policies.

Do you know if the firmware images are modified to be traceable in some way?
Otherwise, uploading it to the internet archive would be highly appreciated, since Iām also dealing with one of those servers, and some day access to that software will be lost
They probably are not traceable but you definitely have to have a valid support contract to be able to download them, and you are not allowed to redistribute. I donāt think uploading them to a public place without consent from Oracle would be legalā¦
