Sub-$200 Headphone recommendations?

I have been looking for a new pair of headphones to replace my current Audio Technica ATH-M30. Two that have caught my eye are the Audio Technica ATH-AD900X and the oddly cheap Beyerdynamic DT-990-Pro. Comfort for extended periods of time is likely the most important factor for me; I tend to be on my computer with headphones on for roughly 3-4 hours at a time. As for what I would be using them for, listening to what most would call classical music, playing games, and watching YouTube videos/Twitch streams.

Any help deciding between these two or any other suggestions you might have are greatly appreciated!

i have a set in red and they are very robust, sound good, look good, and if the cord goes bad, just plug a new one in

this adapter gives you a great boom mic,

i use both every day so for a bit under $200 they are the best bang for buck in my opinion

Sennheiser HD 558

I have ATH-AD900x and I love them. Especially if you listen to classical music which is where these shines the most. And I also use them will gaming and listening to YouTube and they are great. But depending on your head, maybe they will fall down a little bit while resting on your head. You will just need to do the rubber mod with a hair rubber you stole form your sister and it will be all fine. Was able to grab a used pair which were like new for 100 bucks.

+1

Foam mod is worth looking into.  Easy to return to stock if you don't like the modded version.
