Wow, this is the Street Fighter movie we always should of had. lets forget that there was ever a street fighter movie before this. The movie really honors the game and the only thing i think that was cheesy was ken's hair. The references to the original material is done quite nicely. The story is similar to the the Street Fighter Alpha: The Animation, anime, as the story centers on Ryu and Ken. It is basically the origin stories of them, their master Gouken and Akuma. The fight scenes are really good and the use of special effects is just the right amount, never getting too cheesy. As for the acting it is actually pretty good, both capturing the personalities of the game's two most popular characters. it's really a testament to the original source material as it was just a simple fighting game but the characters that were created had their own definite personalities and i think those of Ken and Ryu's was captured well in this movie(to re itterate). Even Gouken's actor was great even though they never featured him in the games. Anyways, i downloaded this movie and i liked it so much i will purchase a copy to support any sequal they may produce (omg im hoping they make another one!!!) also, Akuma was awesome!!! his orgin story was done well as well. stop reading this and watch this movie already!
