Okay I have unmounted and disabled the ramdisk my RAM usage went down to almost nothing like it was supposed to this time I'm attempting to do a reboot and hopefully it will stay disabled
I think I had some kind of error with the ramdisk service
totally claiming that it was not active
but it was actually active in secret
just being a stupid ghost in the Machine
Okay upon rebooting again. twice.
The ram disk partition still wants to automatically start
so I am removing it completely and restarting again
Okay crisis effing averted
Compressed memory in use 4.3 gigabytes
Committed memory 5.1 gigabytes out of 64.9 gigabytes at system boot

So ramdisk was the problem?
Or was it Windows bugging out, not recognizing that the service was active?
i cant tell.
when i open the program ui
it CLAIMED that there was no ramdisk enabled or mounted
i even went so far as to "delete" the ramdisk
and reboot multiple times
it vanished from the "my computer" screen as if it were gone ...
