I just ordered a steam link and saw that the SDK is available on github. I was wondering if anyone knew about any open source projects ongoing for the link that I could participate in. Alternatively if anyone has an idea for a project and wants some help, let me know!

Looks like there’s a port of Kodi. Saw a couple of posts mentioning MAME, but I gave the site only the quickest, cursory glance. API was opensourced in early 2016, though, so I’m not sure if there’s much attention these days. Tough to do anything besides stream to the thing, it’s pretty anemic (of course that’s the point of it to begin with).
