To anyone eying surge 2 out of the blue, play surge 1 first. Its story and gameplay is that good, and second story would loose a lot without that.

Both are currently available with heavy discount. (first one base game is about 2€, 5€ with all dlc, pure steal). And that’s in my maximum global price geo zone.
