I just replaced my mechanical hard drive with a Samsung 860 EVO and the response time shown in task manager is in the milliseconds (ms). Shouldn’t it be more like microseconds (μs) ?
Check Acc.time using AS SSD Benchmark.
Much depends of course what your disk is doing at the moment. The busier the times will grow.
0,2 MilliSecond / 225 MicroSecond
Windows will show this as 0,2 / 0,3ms
And for the Samsung 860 EVO you should probably oscillate around 0,0xx ms
