Looking for contacts to SSD repair+recovery services. This might be helpful for other newcomers.
Issue: SSD does not boot up and generates heat - looks like power rail issue.
Impact: Friend has data and willing to pay for a risky repair.
Region: Preferably EU.
What I’ve repeatedly read online is that apparently Arvika* (from Poland) and NANDoff (from the UK) are regarded as some of the best labs for this type of work.
Might also be worth checking out GDRA [2], which seems to be an independent network [3] of data recovery labs. And also Data Recovery Professionals [3]
Worth noting that I’ve never used any data recovery service nor can I recommend any of the ones I mentioned. This is just what I heard so far.

* - I’ve heard this also from an acquaintance of mine who peddled for a very short bit in data recovery (albeit several years ago). But take it with a grain of salt.
