I just bought a Nikon D5500 and I am trying to find a speed flash. I will be using it for bounce flash most of the time. The price on the Nikon SB models seem very high. Can someone please recommend an after market flash for this camera.
I am having a lot of fun with a SB-26 that I bought used. TTL doesn't work but in manual you get use to figuring it out in no time. It has optical slave as well for off camera work.
With after market speed lights you will get what you pay for in the long run.
