[SOLVED] Silly question about AMD CPU's with integrated iGPU?

I bought the 5600G to see how well it would be for Digital Audio Workstations.
Bought an open frame chassis to test out the chips.
Hopefully they are really good in single core mostly, but 6 cores is plenty for my loads.
If things work out I’ll get the ASRock Rack X570 and transfer builds to 1U chassis.
Slight overclock to jolt the RAM, no need for iGPU other than 2D monitoring.

That’s very interesting to know, wouldn’t the 1U chassis make it loud, or is it in another room?

It’s for live performance so the triple barrel Supermicro fans can still be heard in silent mode, but on stage they’re Hoover vacuum loud, but we’ll worth it.

That’s pretty cool stuff, I guess on stage that kind of noise level is nothing. I built music studio room PC’s many moons ago, they had to be whisper quiet.

I hear you.

Friends with mastering studios put thier PCs in closets down the hall in the quest for true silence.

Way back when Athlon MPs and Tyan Tigers ruled the audio world there were no silent fans. So guys used lengthy Serial cables for their Mouse/QWERTY and VGA “single” monitor.

We’ve come a long way….
