[Solved] Install Ubuntu

I just put together my first pc, I am having trouble getting it to load ubuntu, I just got a 2gb usb stick and downloaded the file (1.6gb) from ubuntu’s website, I also downloaded it via mac. Motherboard is an MSI Z170A PC mate, also was able to update the bios without a problem.

Did you configure the USB drive as bootable? Use Rufus for this, https://rufus.akeo.ie/

I just checked it out and tried downloading but it appears to be incompatible with mac, do you know of any others?
