[SOLVED]Guitar Pro 5 Installation Error

Trying to install Guitar Pro 5 on Mac, and I get this error message. Wondering if anyone can help. Using High Sierra.

"The installation failed. "
"The Installer could not install the software. "
"The Installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install. "

Got it working in Yosemite with the clock set back to 2015. Not sure what the issue is though.

Gonna try with Sierra to see if the issue extends that far.

The issue happens on Sierra. I assume this is part of Apple pushing out older software away as legacy technology and becoming incompatible with later software. Regardless, I have an instance where the software works.

Prob an expired signing certificate

What do you mean?

The app developer didn’t update/refresh their app certificates.

You probably should report the bug to guitar pro developers

Is there a way to get it installed regardless?

You have to have an ongoing license to operate within their ecosystem and be part of the AppStore. Unsure if fees are involved to renew or if developers are just a bit lazy if its free. It could also be that the company went under and no one will do it now.

At any rate, rolling back time may fix the issue.

how did you fix the problem? I am currently trying to install Guitar Pro 5 to my macbook too but the same error is appearing.
