I would like some help here determining if I need the ACS patch or not, please?

From what I understand from the above it seems I do need the ACS patch, but I need a second opinion.

The above is from running the Linux Mint 18.3 standard kernel (4.10.0-42-generic). Would the above groupings change for the better if I installed and ran the 4.15 rc5 kernel? Do I even need the ACS patch with 4.15 rc5?

Also, if I install the 4.15 rc5 kernel (via ukuu), is there something extra I need considering I’m running Linux Mint 18.3 or can I just install and go to town?
