[SOLVED] DualSense 5 controller severe lag and freezes

I built my son a brand new Windows 10x64 PC to play some games.
He has two DualSense 5 controllers, cause he is going to friend’s houses to play there.

I am trying to use them via BlueTooth but it is impossible!

Tired both, same issue. Tried with cable, work perfect, tried with a borrowed XBOX Series X, works fine with BT.

I tried with 3 different versions of Intel BT drivers (mobo, windows, intel), all have the same behavior.

It connects easy, but when I am trying to play, or even calibrate into Steam, I have severe lag (>2 seconds) and after a while, stops responding completely for about 30-40 sec before it work again.

Tried multiple times to remove and re-pair. Also tried DualSenseX and DS4Windows software, but didn’t help.

Setup:
Gigabyte Aorus Master X570
AMD Ryzen 5900X
Asus ROG Strix 6750 OC 12GB
Windows 10x64 21H1 with all updates
Latest AMD drivers
Latest GB drivers

Any ideas before I sell them and buy 2 XBOX ones?

Ok, answering my own question in case somebody experiences the same issue…

Although the distance from my PC was less than 1m/3ft, although at the same distance XBOX SeriesX was working, problem solved when I added the Wi-Fi antenna to my mobo…

Seen similar, some bluetooth devices require the antenna’s because their apart of the Wi-Fi card and not a standalone. :man_shrugging:
