I have had issues with one of my two IBM X3550 M3
The major issue is the IMM, which I haven’t been able to figure out. And I have mostly given up trying to troubleshoot it. Multiple different error codes, failure to communicate with the IMM being the text.
Now yesterday when I booted up the server, it failed to load truenas scale. And half of the memory channels report DIMM failure. (Channels 6 and 12), I am using the original IBM ECC Dimms.
For the boot, it just goes true all the options I have listed, and reports all failing. The server ends up in a unstoppable loop.
CPU’s are of the intel Xeon E5506 in both sockets, maybe that those aren’t socketed good enough. I don’t really know at this point.
