So what would you put in pc for RTS gaming

So my favorite type gaming is rts and 4x rts so would put in you build and why?

Are you asking what kind of hardware is needed for RTS?

Yes hardware my build I did is

MSI 970 GAMING Socket AM3+/ AMD 970/ DDR3/ 2-Way CrossFireX & 2-Way SLI/ SATA3&USB3.0/ A&GbE/ ATX Motherboard
AMD FX-8350 Eight-Core Processor 4.0GHz Socket AM3+, Retail
AMD Original heatsink and fan
DUAL CHANNEL DDR3 HyperX MEMORY KIT with heatsink
8GB DDR3 DUAL CHANNEL Memory
MSI R9 390X GAMING 8G Radeon R9 390X 8GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP
APEVIA ATX-AP800W 800W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply
In a Sentey GS-6400 - ARVINA ATX Full Tower Case

It really depends what rts and 4x games you play. But for the most part, they prefer a decent cpu, a nice amount of RAM and only ok graphics. Most rts and 4x need more cpu/ram becausethere is more going on in the game than compared to say, an fps. However generally the graphics aren't as detailed so you can get away with a weaker gpu. Although it really depends on the game.

Look at the spec recommendations for the games you play most

Just make sure to go intel, with a decent CPU like a core i5 4460,i5 4690k, or a xeon 123v3. These CPU's are more powerful than an 8350 for RTS games, because they have better single core performance.

For the graphics 390x seems a bit overkill, an R9 380, or even R7 370 should do just fine. But hey if you wanna get an R9 390x, more power to you. You might end up needing that horsepower eventually.

So AMD not good for rts 4x gaming

I have a Xeon E3 1231 V3 and it kicks ass, pretty much a i7 4770 without the intel graphics for £50 cheaper

AMD is fine for RTS and 4x, I use the FX-8320 for Sword of the Stars II, which is pretty much the only 4X I've spent time in.
