SLI two 560ti's or a new 7950/7970?

Would two 560ti's compete with a 7950/7970?

Always go with 1 better card, compared to a 2 sub-par cards. 2 560tis will probably beat a 670, but 670s are better in other ways, as well, such as VRAM, etc. I actually recommend getting a 7950 instead. You might even be able to find a 7970 in your price-range. The 7950 is a better choice, compared to either setups.

Yer i already have a 560ti, thats why i was wandering, if i should just get another one :S

Sell the 560ti and buy a 7950 :D

+1 or a 7870 ghz oc edition, is not a bad option either.

but a 7950 is a nice card

Was thinking about getting a 7970, but is it worth the extra £

over the 7970? not so much

a good OC on the 7950 will put it against the 7970 stock

so depending on which card you get, it'll most likely not be worth it

I just dont want to spend £300+ on a new graphics card and then the new series come out a couple of months later. Wouldnt just getting an extra 560ti and putting them into SLI be just as good?

The next Iterations of graphics cards 8xxx and 7xx series are going to be released Winter 2013 or 2014 so youd still have plenty of time to get your moneys worth out of a 7950/7970

Dont worry guys, just found out my motherboard cant SLI but can Crossfire -.- which is hugely dissapointing
