Sli bridge strange pcie slot placement HELP!

I had finally decided to pull the trigger on my purchase
Upgrading my computer has literally been eating away at me.
constantly stuck in my mind
so just to aleviate my stress
im going to buy a new computer

and a lot of people in the reviews are complaining
that the SLI Bridge doesn't like to fit because
themotherboards graphics cards PCI slots are in strange positions

For a new Nvidia graphics card that takes that new type HB Bridge

do I have to run the graphics cards in
slots 4 and Slots 6??
To get the bridge to work?

Can anyone find an SLI HB bridge that would work in the configuration of PCI slots
Whatever it would be called I would like the graphics cards in the top two slots

Would an EVGA Pro SLI Bridge HB 4 slot spacing work?

www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=100-2W-0028-LR

The 2nd x16 slot on that board is only wired for 4x, so you would want to use the next one down and get the 1 slot spacing bridge. If you have the board and cards you could measure the distance between the SLI fingers and make sure they match EVGAs infographic.

If you are trying to use slots 1 and 4 the 1 slot spacing is the one you need.

No I want to use the top two slots I'm just trying to figure out a method to make that work

so the top two you mean slot 1 thats has the led and slot 3 that has no led? if so that the zero slot card

The top slot that has the metal shielding and the one under that within that picture the LED is off

that would be the zero slot spacing then.

40mm
seems small

i THINK wat it would be is 2 slot no ?
slot 0
to slot 4

That's slot 0 and 2, not 0 and 4. Also, you wouldn't want to use that second slot as it's not wired for x16 you want to use the next one, so 0 and 3.

ok
pci SPACE

0 gpu
1
2
3
4 gpu

rite?

But it's not it's, you've added extra space which isn't there.

where?

between the slots, each slot is one PCI slot, if you use the first x16 slot you're covering the next x1, there isn't an extra slots worth of space between them.

1 and 3 in that pictures aren't slot space, 0, 2 and 4 are 0, 1 and 2

if looking out the back of your pc.
the pci slot covers.
would be like that.?
copied and pasted the length of the pci lane.

the slot 0 pcie gpu slot
then a capacitor that taked the width of a slot
then an x4 slot that takes 1 slot of width
then and empty space 1x width wide
then the second gpu slot

i understand wat you are saying
but christ thats a confusing way to put it

so ill explain that to a guy at a store, and end up with the wrong sli adapter

The PCI slot and the space next to it is 1 slot width.
