ok so i've had this problem sense release. bethesda and valve customer support are fucking useless. After killing the first dragon for the jyarl of whiterun. the storm sound that the dragons shout causes gets stuck on a loop. i can load previous saves and theres no problem. accept that i have to keep loading a previous save and cant continue the main story line. i have re installed skyrim, reinstalled windows, deleted and reaquired the skyrim sound.bsa file NOTHING! i'm loosing it here. i tried it on 2 other pc's and the problem is still there. so i'm eaither left to pirate skyrim and risk jail for a product i already paid for. or i can not play skyrim(not an option) i've been all over google/startpage looking for this and the only answer is (load a previous save) lol not an option either please for the love of god can someone help (already tried the different frequency settings it did nothing) plz!!!! help!!!
- Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Sound
- Select the output speakers being used and click Properties
- Under the advanced tab, change the sample rate to 24 bit / 44100 Hz (some user say that it works if you set it to 44.1Khz & 16-bit)
my version of skyrim is the pirated one but it works fine no problems but i googled your problem anyway and another fix you could try is reload a save before you shout?
i may not have been clear before but i already tried the two. every time i kill the dragon (after loading a good save) it just happens again. its part of the main story is the only reason i care to begin with. thanks for the quick response appreciate it.
You could try messing with the console. Maybe kill the dragon before he is able to shout or skip the queststep. All the commands you need are here: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Commands_(Skyrim)
