Shutdown on/off over and over

My computer will randomly shut down and turn back on then shutdown before it even boots it will cut power is it my power supply? gpu? Please help me figure this out I should also mention that input to my monitor goes out before it shuts off... Any help would be appreciated

could you give details as to what you are doing when your computer is shutting down? are you gaming? or web browsing? it helps diagnose the problem.

I was gaming but not graphically demanding games at all
