The reason I am sharing these and want to know what you use, is so we can refine our settings and come up with the best quality to size ratio.

Here are my three settings.

Format/Container- MP4

Main:
1080p video
codec- h.265
framerate- Same as source- variable framerate
quality- 20
optimization- Medium

2160p video
codec- h.265
framerate- same as source- variable framerate
quality- 22
optimization- Medium

480p and lower
codec- h.265
framerate- same as source- variable framerate
quality- 18
optimization- Slower

Audio
Stereo Bitrate- 160
Surround Bitrate- 640

I am sorry if this is reviving a dead thread. But I have been searching for something similar to this and was curious if anyone is still using similar settings or has changed over the last few years.

Current main for me is: 1080p video, codec H.264, MKV format, framerate 30, quality 20
