I had a similar thread where I was diagnosing some disk issues ive been having… and Im back with some more details.
My Hardware:
6x ST6000NM0095 6tb Seagate SAS drives
Netapp 4486 Disk Shelf, hooked to LSI 9200-8e in Proxmox machine.
My Issue:
The drives arent Spinning up!! Ive moved them around, between machines and backplanes, and on Supermicro backplanes they spin up and work fine, but in the Netapp (where I really want them to live) they do no spin up, and dmesg reads the following:
