I did a search and couldn’t believe that this had not been posted on here. I know this isn’t a computer technically but its flaming awesome.
I know Everyone loves to emulate old systems with things like Raspberry Pi’s but this is the stuff I love, people who keep the full size old systems running.
I would love to do this with some kind of old computer like a mainframe or Cray or something.
I have seen some things like this covered on the 8-Bit guy’s channel showing some cool kit that had come out of Japan. It is interesting to see how these systems worked in action and how Amiga and SGi really changed the game with their digital systems.
I remember when Babylon 5 came out and the graphics were unreal. They shot in digital too.
Thank you for posting this! I like to play around in after effects and incorporating motion graphics into my work when I can, so seeing stuff like this is super interesting to me. So much to learn from the old master and the beauty of analog!
