Sapphire hd 7850

hi all

I`ve got a sapphire hd 7850 and I have heard that there is a way of making it in to a 7870 with some kind of upgrade, is this possible or have I misunderstood what I was told.

Are you referring to overclocking?

Just overclock the card i got a easy 1ghz out of my sapphire hd 7850 2gb.

I can't tell if you are referring to overclocking or actually putting a 7870 bios on the card. The latter would do nothing and not help at all so I hope you are talking about overclocking.
