Samsung Tab 4 Question

So I have a Samsung Tab 4 device, I’ve installed a 64GB SD card so how can I move the installed apps over there ?

I went to App Manager and only a few allowed me to use the Move to SD Card button.

What gives Samsung ?

It’s this model of tablet:

You can’t.

Thanks for the feedback, I guess I really don’t see what the need of an SD card is then ?

I really just use it for a few small apps.

Media storage

If you’re still on Android 4.4 you can move apps to the SD card. Just go to each app you’d like to move and select “move to SD card”. If the option is not available it means the app doesen’t support it.
If you want to root the device you could use Link2SD which uses an ext3/4 partition on your SD card to link the applications to and freeing internal storage.

Thanks for the rooting link, I may give it a try

Hey, that’s odd about your Tab 4. I’ve got a Tab S7 Lite, even a refurbished one, and haven’t run into those app-moving issues. Everything seems to flow smoothly on my end.
