Sabrent Thunderbolt 4 KVM Review

I would love to see Wendell review this KVM and/or provide an update about the thunderbolt KVM he mentioned in this post.

If I could make my perfect KVM, it would be two computer, two DP monitor. Computer 1 input would be a single Thunderbolt cable to my work laptop that would charge and carry the DP and USB signals. Computer 2 would be 3 cables to my gaming desktop. Two DP cables and USB C uplink, basically what Level 1 KVMs already have now.

It takes a long switching time. I was evaluating this chipset for a long time and it’s pricey and has quirks. Can work but… I decided not to pull the trigger because there is a non Intel chipset for this in development that is more promising imho.

if you needed one to switch between 2 thunderbolt systems would you say it is a good enough to work tell you come out with one that will be much better?

Was intel asking too much to use the thunderbolt license?

Could you specify which chipset you are referring to?
