S.M.A.R.T hard drive failure

So my laptop says my hard drive failure is imminent and i should backup and upon pressing F1 to skip this laptop starts beeping at windows load screen; the data on that laptop is not important so all im trying to do is save the drive.

The drive is Seagate momentus 5400.6, 500GB

Any advices on how to fix this?
I did plug it to desktop and scan it with HD tune it found some errors but no idea how to fix it

How old of a drive are we talking about here, and are you familiar the concept of EOL(End of Life) and PLM(Product Lifecycle Management)?

the drive is about 4 years old.. but for 2 years it was innactive just sitting in laptop that noone bothered to fix :D

I'd suggest getting a trial version of Hard Disk Sentinel and check the SMART DATA about bad blocks.

You can temporarily fix bad blocks or sectors until you get a new drive but honestly getting a new drive or SSD is the way to go.
