RyzenAdj(changing PPT etc.) not working with Threadripper 3

Hi,
I got my new Threadripper system and It works mostly.
Sadly RyzenAdj doesn’t work at the moment and I haven’t found any other tools that can change the powerlimit in Linux.
I filed a bug report, but It seems TRX40 isn’t suported at all in the moment.
Has someone here an idea how to get it working?
Here is my bug report:

After looking for another solution to limit the power usage of my cpu I found this patch:
https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/11038807/
After unloading acpi_cpufreq I loaded the amd-cpufreq module with paramter cppc_enable=1
After that you can set min_perf/max_perf and desired_perf for each core. The frequency pretty much seems static until you hit the turbo freq. So if I want to game I just set desired_perf/max_perf to 200 on the cores of choice and pin the game to this cpus.
A little bit more complicated than just setting the PPT but it gives the desired result.

I’m not sure what the normal max_perf value is havent tried higher than 200.
Setting all cores to 200 yielded a pretty good geekbench result:
