Microcenter is a physical store, not an e-retailer. So you have to walk in. I figured this might be good for the few that would want to save money if they have a store nearby.
Having bought a Threadripper at full price I am somewhat bummed, as I bought it 3 weeks ago. However, I also am happy with my CPU so I shouldn’t really complain.
There is also a 50 dollar off deal when bundled with a motherboard.
And cheaper + no tax for most
It get’s really sweet when they pay only 1 penny for a 50 dollar MB and then send in for a rebate.
Especially for the cheaper stuff.
And there is just something about having a place to go to hand over the counter and say "It don’t work"
The intel stuff has 50 off the combo also but you didn’t here that from me 
For example the G4560 are 56 bucks and sold out, but the I3’s are 110 to 130 for the 6100 and 7350K and with the 50 bucks off the combo ends up being very close to the G4560, which does not have the combo deal
As long as they have the mobo you want.
