I’ve just bought a new machine with a rtx 3060 and installed ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS as well as nvidia driver 470.63.01.
While working I’ve been noticing a few hiccups here and there and decided to benchmark it.
To compare performance with older machine I’ve ran Unigene Heaven benchmark but it just lags not even finishing the benchmark. To run it I had to reduce settings to minimum (quality low, everything off, resolution at 640x360) and Looking at nvidia-smi power usage never passes 50W.
I’ve tried to revert to older driver (460), reinstall ubuntu and the problem persists.
I’m out of ideas.
