whats the best root kit scanner and removal software?
Since no body else around here seems to have any knowledge, and thus can only come up with trolling statements.
Here is some light reading.
Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit Beta. Ive used it before to remove a stubborn rootkit.(Read the "Usage" instructions)

the issue with rootkits, it by definition they can change what other programs will see. i always recommend scanners that are run from a bootable media, as that way its not dependant on something like windows (which could be reporting things falsely).
iirc, hyrins boot cd has a virus / rootkit scanner
