RJ45 Boot Source - Need Suggestions

Looking for a specific RJ45 boot. Seen it on some cables I found on Amazon (StarTech Cat5e Ethernet Cable). Does anyone know where to get boots that look like these by themselves?

Any leads appreciated.

Those are moulded on to the cable, the seam in the middle is a dead giveaway. So you can’t purchase them as is, unless you buy the injection moulding machine that makes them :stuck_out_tongue: (mind, we have one at work (mainly for coax in our case), $$$$$ stuff!)

Not all the same, but…

Or… You can put the whole thing on glue/silicone to create an improvised version of what you want.

They are also available with a strong self-locking body as well as with a tightening screw to grip the cable firmly.

I don’t know what you need this style of fastening for, but in your place I would rather choose a solution with glue / silicone, strong silicone or some thick two-component glue and put a little inside the rj45 so that this cover sticks to 100%. Such an improvised casting…

Yeah, I saw these ones are molded, but I was hoping there was a version that isn’t. I just like the simplicity of this design.

I appreciate the suggestions. I just liked the simplicity of the design. I find the cap on boots a bit annoying, just preference.

Improvising something will work though.
