I am comparing refurbished Dell Power Edge and HPE ProLiant servers for a small business Virtualization setup.
The workloads will mainly be VM Ware ESXI, Hyper-V and a few Linux virtual machines.
I’m interested in:
• Reliability
• Power efficiency
• Noise
• Spare parts availability
• Long-term maintenance
If you’ve deployed either platform in production, which would you recommend and why?
I’d appreciate hearing your real-world experience.
