References 670 OC, EVGA 670 FTW

Hello, I am currently getting ready to build a gaming PC and have been thinking a bit on what type of GPU to get. My therory is if i get a references model of the 670 and overclock it to the same (or more) as the EVGA 670 FTW, would i get the same preformance if i were to buy a EVGA 670 FTW or better (As in temprature, fan speed, FPS etc...). Oh and is the only one references model, The Galaxy GeForce GTX 670 2GB or the Galaxy GeForce GTX 670 GC 2GB. So would this work and is this a good idea or should I just get the EVGA GTX 670 FTW?

Thanks :)

Why do you want the reference model?

The GC certainly looks less reference, at least as far as the heatsink goes.

On the other hand, the EVGA also looks reference...

Would you think i should go for the ASUS GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU II 2GB then OverClock it the same speeds as the EVGA GTX 670 FTW?
