Recommended Sound Dampening for PC Case

So, my PC has a low “hum” to it for some reason. It’s not the fans to blame either. I can’t figure out what it is exactly, and I figure the best bet would be to buy sound dampening material for my case. Just wondering what sound dampening material is recommended for the internals of a PC case (mine is made out of pretty much solid aluminum, though I don’t know if that matters).

Is the case completely custom or is it made by a brand? If made by a brand you got the model number? Just so people can get an idea of what we are looking at.

Caselabs case, but in the future I’m interested in getting my own custom designed case from Protocase.

Get some material made for cars, works great.

I take it because most solutions (I assume) are foam based, ESD is a higher thing to worry about?

Personal experience?

Yes, I find it works great for all sorts of sound dampening, especially when you are putting materials inside a box and preventing noise from leaking out.
Just to clarify, the one I linked was just a sample, probably get one without the aluminium on one side.
