Rca speakers to pc: best setup?

What is the best way to get a PC to hookup and interface with a pair of RCA speakers.

I want to go retro with a 80s/90s mixer but I’m unsure how to proceed. All of my previous setups have been cheap but they’ve worked. $10 ampifiers don’t really last long.

An RCA to aux adapter
If the speakers are large enough to need application and use RCA then they’ll probably have a built in one
