There is some interesting stuff and a lot more integration with hardware features developed by Intel. Whilst this is all good news for corporates that mostly run MS on the desktop it might make for some challenges for FOSS developers/enthusiasts - like how we often need to disable secure boot etc.

Some really good information posted here, folks. It will take me a bit of time to sift though it though. Like I said in my original post, I am by no means an expert in this field.

There’s already a solution to this problem, we’re just not there yet. Essentially with a quantum system in place you can use the observer effect in order to determine if the bits have been observed or changed in any way, in real time.
