If it can be heard 40km away than it’s safe to say that when you stand next to the siren when it goes off. It will easily burst your ear-drums.
mmm …sexy
plus… to never to have windows on it. Not willing to pay for it. :)~
Will be my first venture in windows free zone.
Yeah definitely not a smart place to stand, or keep standing after it starts. I like that the guy starting it has ear protection but not a care given to anyone else there with him and they are visibly unconfortable with the volume level.
Expletive: By the Maker! Query: How many decibels did that contraption produce?
looks like a Noctua gpu
That was the intention. unfortunately just a render by a fan and not a real idea from the company.
Ultra Table PC project is complete for all its intents and purposes. Running great, picked up the final piece of it today in the Focusrite Scarlet Solo USB Interface. It is now ready for everything I had planned fir it.
You are very close to my ideal lan setup
Its pretty sweet to be honest. If I had the money to spare I would love to eventually upgrade it to whatever is the current model at the time. Like the new one with the i7 8700 CPU in it and Vega, but that is not planned just a dream.
The current set up is really nice:
Intel NUC 6i7KYK i7 6700HQ Iris Pro 580 iGPU (which for all the shit they get this is pretty impressive)
Samsung 500GB 960EVO M.2 SSD (space for a second M.2 I would love a 2TB storage stick not even NVMe)
Win10 Pro
Anne Pro Wireless Mechanical Keyboard
Steam Controller (for all desktop use with mouse mapping, main input device)
Focusrite Scarlet Solo USB Interface
California Headphone Company Silverados
It all runs off one plug, or it only needs one socket however you want to look at it, the one for the PC itself. The monitor and interface run off USB power, the Steam Controller is on Eneloops and the Anne Pro has internal Li-ion. Magic. It also all fits in side a “lock box” I got with GTA 4, except for the peripherals, so it is a traveling set up.
Idea, could rig that keyboard to 2x screen wide mat
I dont know, maybe you could also rig all cables to that mats upper area with some velcro paths
Example:
Quarter for keyboard
Quarter for cables
Half for mouse
I do need a solution still for covering the screen while traveling, so a book type thing with cable management loops on the back would be a good idea. then it would be quicker to unpack and set up. I was thinking of measuring the length all the cables need to be and having a set made just for this so there is no excess lying around the place, but again a future thing that would be nice but not necessary.
A thing of compact beauty…
You can tier out a box with covering of choice…easy enough.
