So i have a decent machine working right now.
i7 11700k
32Gb Ram
3080Ti
750w PSU
The thing is, i have a “Raid 0” of 5 Toshibas HDD (4Tb each), i have this with Intel RST to work, the problem is that the speeds sometimes are good and other times are trash. I need this raid to be reliable in terms of speed.
So searching online i cross by with HBA RAID cards, wich i understand are a far better option to handle RAIDS in better shape. I can buy a Lsi 9211-8i here in Argentina.
But i don´t fully understand how this will set up, for what i search this thing works in a “BIOS” level, so the RAID is not being handle from the motherboard or the SO. But once i build the RAID with the BIOS of this HBA, how i tell windows what is what??
Sorry if something is wrong, im trying to understand how this will work.
